10 mg??? Who would need that much?

My son has ADHD and we give him 1-2 mg of melatonin per night to sleep. I have a bottle of adult melatonin, but I really don’t use it. I’m always having to get up in the middle of the night for my son (melatonin nightmares I assume) to to let my dogs out and if I take anything I bump into doorways and fall over things. I know I need the extra sleep but it hasn’t been worth it to me.

I’ll remember this article though. I hope the 1-2 mg dose is okay long term.

:slightly_smiling_face: That link is interesting. Apologies for wandering off the subject Melatonin…but my comment is sleep related. Recently, I was prescribed Sibelium (Flunarizine) for BPPV (specifically dizziness turning over in bed). I had been waking up to 4 times nightly. Since taking the medication, waking is reduced to once (bathroom visit). So…as far as I’m concerned, this is a plus :slightly_smiling_face: xB
