Excellent

I too have Cerrebelar Ataxia and also have a tricycle

its from mission cycles http://www.missioncycles.co.uk/AdultTrikes.asp

although its an upright model

I have  tried the recumbents and was impressed with  the ease of use.

For Your Information:   Other people may be interested in this.  It's a long story, but, I got my recumbent bike   through the VA ($1200) for  FREE!  Forgot that I had this video---shot at Go-Bent bikes in Wenatchee, WA in May, 2010.

Yes, I'm sure that there are similarities, but, for example FA is typically diagnosed in younger people,
I think--I was 41 when diagnosed with SD.

Yes, Wei, you're probably right, but, my neurologist never said that.

Dear Stace:

Spinocerebellar Degeneration is just another name for Ataxia, which includes Spinocerebellar ataxia and Fridreich Ataxia and other even rarer ataxias.

Spinocerebellar Degeneration--similar to MS in some ways. It's a neurological disorder. Breakdown of the brain. Loss of coordination in legs (walking) & arms, slirring of speech & slowly progressive.

There is much more to it, but, that is the gist of it.
