Nicely presented video but... I have cerebellar ataxia but dont have the hand tremor as stated in the video.

I would be interested in theDoctor,s opinion on the use of deep brain stimulation in treating acquired ataxia.
at76,I have been told by a neurologist that no responsible doctor would consider such an action. I feel the possible side effects provide a cautionary tail. This procedure is still in it's infancy..detail s are still being refined.

Can you ask him if there is a difference between the involuntary twitches you get with ataxia and the ones associated with dystonia? How do you know whether its just the ataxia or whether you may have another condition besides?
