Well... I made it through christmas! I wasn't sure after pulling my side Christmas Eve. I had just been getting dressed but my back muscles were stiff and I was cold I always seem to pull the same side I don't know why.
It was very painful, even getting to loo was a struggle i spent all day laid on hot water bottle and with painkillers. Luckily it had eased off by christmas morning and no more snow either so I managed to get Inca around the village by sticking to the main roads on scooter and Inca trotting alongside on the pavements off lead so she could have a sniff about.
Had time to take a few snaps and rest before I got collected about 2pm.

Inca checks out her new bed with Santa!

Me and my lil girl!
At my brothers we had lovely christmas meal with turkey, veg, potatoes etc and then we had trifle for pudding cos we don't like christmas pud and he makes a mean trifle! He puts port in the jelly and strawberries base and then brandy cream on top decorated with chocolate truffle shavings... YUMMM!
Shame I can't work it off right now!
It was after 5pm before we opened presents, I usually have some from friends to open at home in morning but cos of deep snow arriving night before Christmas Eve, they couldn't get here which was a shame as she had got me the Wii Fit Plus so that review will be late. They are hoping to make it over around Dec 28th but it depends on weather as more snow has been forecast here.
Anyway by 5pm I was thrilled to finally get to open some presents and I got a nice jumper, new breville toaster machine (I love my cheese and ham toasties!), DVD box set, huge bottle of my favourite brandy, some nice scarves one soft chenille and of those snood/scarf thingies.. great for keeping warm while taking Inca out in this freezing weather!
It was a lovely afternoon but my back was killing me again by 7pm and the house was getting very full as neighbours (also now my in-laws!) came in for drink and buffet although we hadn't had dinner until around 4pm so were still stuffed.. lol! I got my brother to drive me home so could lie flat in bed with electric blanket on, I find the heat helps my back and leg muscles.
I'm glad I wasn't in too much pain to enjoy it and luckily it hasnt snowed again overnight so hoping to make it to small park this morning with Inca. She is looking forwards to her turkey for dinner today that they sent for her. Unfortunately my choc fudge cake and brandy cream got left on back seat of car last night, so they gonna drop it off today.
Hoping my side gets better quick and my friend can get over with exercise game so I can exercise all this off.. lol!
