A short potted history of me as follows:
I was a civil servant
I am married to Andrew
I am the Chairman of a local Dogs and Cats Home (I intend to keep 'the little grey cells' exercised as long as possible)
I am animal potty
I currently have 3 Dogs and 1 Cat, had 4 of each before losing 1 dog and 3 cats. 2 cats in 3 weeks (just)
I was a craft person before CA - now my dexterity is not so good
I love the garden
I have had various tests from both my specialist and the genetic centre, all have come back negative, my genes are O/k!!. I think the CA ia idiopathic.
I felt as though I was the only person in the world with this condition. Stupid I know.
At the moment I can with difficulty walk, although it is not very good. I keep walking into things, like door frames) I have lost count of the times I have been accused of being drunk. The last time I was a 'bloody alcoholic'
I can't help it but I feel robbed, although I have accepted my lot such as it is.
Do you have a doctor or hospital you would like to recommend?
My specialist is Dr. Weatherby at Derriford Hospital

Make-up

Hello girls
I'm not being sexist but my question is appropriate to the girls, that said the boys are welcome to throw in their two pennuth.
Does anyone have a problem with blusher and eye make-up - what is the secret in getting it right? I find it the devil's own job. I have always had difficulty putting eye make-up on my right eye (long story) but now left and right give me trouble. Blusher on the left hand side I can manage but the right well!!!! I swear the mascara brush is alive!
By the time… Continue

THE SAGA CONTINUES

Hello
Further to my piece entitled 'embarrassing or what' we have received our new credit cards and details of our new bank account, only to find the credit card does not work and the bank account is not recognised. We have been told to report to the bank tomorrow. Why do I have the feeling of here we go again? Added to which the statement came for the old account, up to and including the date of the fraud, for us to find it includes a transaction we never made.
I have trawled the net and find w… Continue

Scooter

Hello
I have got a scooter, it is a great help. I was able to go out with Andrew and the dogs without dragging behind and every movement being agony. When we brought the dogs home Andrew and I (me on the scooter) went to the village. Once there I was able to park up and have a good look round, something I have not done for sometime because when I walk I am tired out by the time we reach it.
It is an 'all terrain' scooter and the lovely thing about it is I can go to the field with the dogs. As lo… Continue

Embarrassing or what!

My Husband and I went to a local garden centre. Having picked up our goods we went to the checkout where we presented our credit card for payment. For some reason the credit card would not work it kept being rejected. Bear in mind the queue behind us was getting bigger every second. The cashier called her Supervisor who annnounced to the world the card was void. By this time I wished I was anywhere but there. Being an atxian with not very sprigthly movement, I could hardly make a quick exit!!! W… Continue

Dear Carol
Thank you for anwering so promptly It would be nice if we could all get together somehow
even if it was once a month .I am not a very confident driver and to have to find the various
meeting places in Cornwall I would find it very daunting.I will contact you and come and
see you both kind regards Pauline.

thanks for the message i'm glad that you are keeping well! I know what you mean about the travelling to the meetings, I went to the meeting at liskard and somehow I found myself volentering to be the treasurer just to get the branch up and running. The next meeting will be at the premier inn, st Austell on Saturday 27 march at 1.30.
address: Treverbyn road, carclaze, St Austell, cornwall pl25 4el. there will be minutes as soon as I receive them I will gladly forward them to you. One of the things that was brought up was the topic of places to meet, it was decided to have the meetings in different places through out cornwall, we are even planning to have a meeting in Plymouth, (place and venue to be looked into).
We except that travelling to the meetings is going to be difficult for some people that is why we want to very the meet places, so as to give people the chance to attend. Everybody is welcome to this friendly and welcoming group.
hope to see you soon, take care regards barry.
