Update on access, to a Ataxia - Doctor in Cardiff, Wales, UK

Hello

As you know, I have been trying to investigate, This clinic, in Cardiff, that deals with ATAXIA.

Yesterday (Wednesday 16th September) I was (invited) to attend, the PSP PSP Symposium, in Cardiff.
As you see alot of the issues, related are "overlapped" by many Degenerative Neurological conditions.

To my surprise the event was chaired by Dr Huw Morris - Senior Lecturer and consultant Neurologist at Cardiff University, the Royal Gwent Hospital.
During a break, I managed to speak to Huw,
He told me about his department, and clinics.
He and other Doctors are very "interested" and are "involved" with Degenarative Neurological conditions (with some dedication, towards ATAXIA) and are very keen to involve Ataxia Patients . (My immpression was that he has been trying to do/(promote) this for some time ???).

He has passed me he contact details, to take this foward (so watch this space).

Also speaking, was Dr Lori Quinn - honorary reseach fellow of the Physiotherpy Department, Cardiff University. I spoke to her about this and was very welcoming and would be in contact as soon as she can.

Hopefully this will mean a decent level of sevices for Ataxians, with out unnessacary traveling of long distances.

(I am aware that, this MIGHT NOT be totally ATAXIA orinentated, but its a good oppertunity)
