Event Description

Richard Hume and Tom Barnes are taking part in the Woodvale Challenge Atlantic Rowing Race, commencing 6th December 2009.

Richard and Tom are raising money for Ataxia (Ataxia UK) which a close friend of ours, James Downie, unfortunately suffers from Ataxia.

One Goal, 2500 Nautical Miles of open sea.

Sound like a Good time - ROWING is an EXCELENT form of exercise, but it does take some cordination to do well (that one reason I liuke the stationary rower in the gym - I can mess up just me;))

my ataxia causes vertigo, and being on a boat aggravates this. I am glad you do not have vertigo and can do this! good luck!
