 Ride Ataxia NorCal will take place in the scenic foothills of Northern
  California from Folsom, CA to Grass Valley, CA and back on March 15 a
 nd 16, 2009. The two day route will cover 110 miles. The event will al
 so include 10 and 25 mile route options, on March 15, inviting all lev
 els of riders.\n\n\nBeneficiaries\nPresented by Outback Steakhouse, Ri
 de Ataxia NorCal benefits the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance 
 (FARA) and the UC Davis School of medicine.\n\n\nEvent History\nFounde
 d by Kyle Bryant, the Ride Ataxia team has traveled 3300 miles in thre
 e years raising invaluable awareness for Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) an
 d bringing together $830,000 in research funds. Friedreich’s ataxia 
 is a debilitating, life-shortening, degenerative neuro-muscular disord
 er. Ride Ataxia NorCal will combine the personal physical test of the 
 historically challenging Ride Ataxia event with a family atmosphere in
 viting all levels of riders.\n\n\nSchedule of Events\n(Rain or Shine) 
 7:30-10:30 Registration open for all rides. 8:30-9:00 50 mile ride sta
 rt. 9:15-9:45 25 mile ride start. 10:00-10:30 10 mile ride start.\n\n\
 nCost\nDay 1, 10 or 25 Mile Ride: Individual - $35 Earlybird Registrat
 ion- by 3/31; Post 3/31- $45. Team (up to 10 riders)- $300 Earlybird R
 egistration; Post 3/31- $400. Each team member may choose either ride 
 lengths. Day 1 & 2- 110 Mile Ride: Individual - $75 Earlybird Registra
 tion- by 3/31; Post 3/31- $85. Team (up to 10 riders)- $700 Earlybird
